A photoelectric smoke detector that wires to the panel. Plan on at least one per level.
What it does
The 2W-B is a System Sensor i3 series two-wire photoelectric smoke detector. It runs on 12 or 24 V DC and plugs into its own mounting base. It has a removable cover and chamber for cleaning and built-in maintenance signaling.
Works with
On a Vista-20P, two-wire smoke detectors go on zone 1, up to 16 per panel. They also work on the VISTA H3 and most 12 V hardwired panels; check the H3 manual for its fire zone.
Why you want it
Photoelectric sensing is good at catching smoldering fires, and it is tied into the panel instead of beeping alone.
