A four-wire photoelectric smoke detector for panels that supply separate power to the detector.
What it does
The 4W-B is a System Sensor i3 series four-wire photoelectric smoke detector with a large wire entry port and a removable cover and chamber for cleaning. It has built-in remote maintenance signaling and drift compensation. Maximum current is 130 mA.
Works with
Four-wire smoke detectors need a separate power supervision relay (such as an RRS-MOD or similar) and can go on any zone. They work on the Vista-20P, the VISTA H3 and most 12 V hardwired panels; check the panel manual for the zone type.
Why you want it
Drift compensation and smoothing keep sensitivity steady and cut down nuisance alarms.
