A two-wire smoke detector with a built-in heat sensor, good for kitchens and spaces near garages.
What it does
The 2WT-B is a System Sensor i3 series two-wire photoelectric smoke detector with a thermal heat sensor. The detector plugs into a mounting base, which is included.
Works with
On a Vista-20P, two-wire smoke detectors go on zone 1, up to 16 per panel. They also work on the VISTA H3 and most 12 V hardwired panels; check the H3 manual for its fire zone.
Why you want it
The heat element backs up the smoke sensor where cooking or exhaust can confuse smoke sensing alone.
