A two-wire smoke and heat detector with a built-in sounder, so the alarm is loud right in the room.
What it does
The 2WTA-B is a System Sensor i3 series two-wire photoelectric smoke detector with a thermal sensor and a built-in sounder. It plugs into a mounting base wired to your fire zone.
Works with
On a Vista-20P, two-wire smoke detectors go on zone 1, up to 16 per panel. They also work on the VISTA H3 and most 12 V hardwired panels; check the H3 manual for its fire zone. To sound all sounders on a loop together, pair it with an RRS-MOD.
Why you want it
The built-in sounder wakes sleepers in the room where the alarm trips, not just at the keypad.
