A Vista-20P panel package with a 6160RF keypad plus the battery, siren and phone jack most installs need. You add your own sensors.
What it does
This kit bundles a Vista-20P panel with its cabinet, transformer, lock and key, resistors and zone-doubling kit; a 6160RF keypad with a built-in 5800 wireless receiver; a 4Ah backup battery; a Wave2 siren; and an RJ31X phone jack and cord, so you can wire and program a complete hardwired system yourself. The panel has 8 hardwired zones on board (15 with zone doubling) and supports 48 zones in total, 40 of them wireless.
Works with
The Vista-20P is a hardwired panel. The 6160RF keypad has the 5800 receiver, so the included wireless devices work right away; use one receiver per panel and do not combine it with a 5881ENH. The RJ31X jack lets the panel dialer use a home phone line; an AlarmNet communicator is an alternative.
Why you want it
It covers the core parts of a hardwired install in one order, and the RF keypad leaves room to add wireless sensors later.
