A four-wire smoke and heat detector with a Form C relay output.
What it does
The 4WTR-B is an i3 series four-wire photoelectric detector with an isolated thermal sensor, an 85 dB sounder and a Form C relay. It plugs into an included base and has dual-color LEDs, a removable cover and chamber, and remote maintenance signaling.
Works with
Four-wire smoke detectors need a separate power supervision relay (such as an RRS-MOD or similar) and can go on any zone. They work on the Vista-20P, the VISTA H3 and most 12 V hardwired panels; check the panel manual for the zone type.
Why you want it
The relay output can control other equipment when the detector alarms.
