Turns existing wired zones into 5800 wireless zones, so you can keep your wired sensors and skip the rewiring.
What it does
The 5800C2W connects to hardwired sensors on a 12 V system and sends their status to the panel as 5800 Series wireless signals. That makes it useful when you retrofit an older system, or when a wire run is not practical. You save the cost of swapping each wired device for its own transmitter.
Works with
Works with panels that have a 5800 receiver, such as a Vista-20P with a 6160RF, 6150RF or 5881ENH, and with Lynx Touch panels. ProSeries panels need a PROTAKEOVER module to accept 5800 devices.
