A V-Plex module that adds eight supervised zones on the polling loop. It is for V-Plex panels, not the Vista-20P.
What it does
The 4208U identifies eight end-of-line supervised zones, using the 10K resistors supplied. DIP switches set zone numbers or serial numbers, and loops A and B can be set for fast 10 ms response. It has cover tamper protection that you can turn on or off, and can run from an external DC supply to reduce polling loop current.
Works with
For V-Plex panels such as the Vista-128BPT. It does not work with the Vista-20P or Vista-21iP.
Why you want it
It adds eight zones over two polling-loop wires, saving a long home-run cable for each sensor.
