A wireless heat detector for garages, kitchens and other spots where a smoke detector would false alarm.
What it does
The 5809SS has a 135 degree F fixed temperature element and rate-of-rise sensing that trips on a 15 degree F rise within one minute. It replaces the 5809. If the fixed element is triggered, the detector must be replaced because that element is single use and not restorable.
Works with
Works on a Vista-20P with a 6160RF, 6150RF or 5881ENH receiver, and on ProSeries panels with a PROTAKEOVER module. It is not supported on the VISTA H3 without an extra module this store does not carry.
