A Verizon LTE Cat M1 communicator for Vista panels that also has an ethernet path as backup.
What it does
The LTEM-PIV combines Verizon cellular with an ethernet internet path, so there are two ways to reach the central station. It is UL 985 listed for household fire warning use, and your dealer can program Vista-15P and 20P panels through AlarmNet 360. It runs from a 9 VDC power adapter.
Works with
For Vista panels such as the Vista-20P. Pick this Verizon version if you want an ethernet path in addition to cellular.
Why you want it
Two reporting paths mean a dropped cell signal or a router outage will not leave you disconnected.
Connects through AlarmNet. Must be activated by an alarm dealer and carries a monthly fee that covers 24/7 professional UL central station monitoring and the Total Connect app. Contact a local alarm dealer before you order.
