A shock sensor that sticks right on the glass and feels the impact.
What it does
The ASC-SS1 mounts directly to the glass and protects plate, wired, tempered and laminated glass up to 1/4 in thick within about an 8 ft radius. It connects to a two-wire powered protective loop.
Works with
Wires to the Vista-20P, VISTA H3 and many 12 V panels. Because it needs a powered loop, check your panel manual for the right zone type.
Why you want it
It senses the hit on the glass itself, so it works in noisy rooms where sound detectors struggle.
