A heavy-duty floor-mount contact for roll-up garage doors.
What it does
The 958 has an adjustable magnet with an L bracket and a 24 in armored cable. It is epoxy encapsulated against moisture and impact, with a shock absorber design that protects the reed from flex. It needs a gap of at least 2-3/8 in (60 mm) and mounts on the floor beside the door track.
Works with
A normally closed loop device that wires to a zone on the Vista-20P, VISTA H3 and most 12 V hardwired panels.
Why you want it
It is built for the bounce and travel of a rolling garage door that would shake a standard contact loose.
