A 7-inch color touchscreen with voice announcements, for homeowners who want an easy-to-read display.
What it does
The 6290W has a high-resolution 7-inch screen and a slim, tablet-style design only about 1 inch off the wall. It speaks system status, alarm type and the affected zone, shows your own pictures on the home screen, and takes software updates from an SD card slot. The backplate is designed to retrofit existing 6160 and 6280W installs.
Works with
Built for the Vista-20P and other Vista panels, not the VISTA H3 or ProSeries. Keep a 6160 on the system for panel programming.
Why you want it
A large touchscreen that makes arming and bypassing simple for family members who are not tech-minded.
