The 5816WMWH is the best-selling 5800-series wireless door and window sensor, and the one most DIY alarm systems start with.
What it does
It is a two-zone wireless transmitter with a built-in magnetic reed switch and a terminal for a wired closed-loop contact, so one unit can cover two points. It is about 3 by 1.5 inches and runs on a lithium battery. A matching magnet is included.
Works with
Works with Vista panels that have a 6160RF, 6150RF or 5881ENH receiver, natively on Lynx Touch, and on ProSeries with a PROTAKEOVER module. It does not work on the VISTA H3 without a module we do not stock.
Why you want it
It goes up in minutes with no wire to the panel, and the wired terminal lets one transmitter cover a second opening.
