What it does
The VISTA H3 is the control panel that every zone, keypad and communicator connects to. It has 8 hardwired zones on board (16 with zone doubling), supports up to 56 encrypted SiX wireless zones and 4 partitions, and can run up to 16 two-wire smoke detectors. It mounts in a metal cabinet. A power adapter is included; the backup battery is not, and it accepts 12 volt batteries from 4Ah to 35Ah.
Works with
Works with ProSeries SiX wireless sensors, hardwired contacts, motions, glassbreaks and 2-wire smokes, and the VISTAHEXPHW expander to reach 64 hardwired zones. It also needs at least one keypad, a 12 volt backup battery, and a ProSeries communicator (PROLTE-V2, PROLTE-A2, PROWIFI or PROWIFIZW) for monitoring and the Total Connect app.
Why you want it
One panel handles a wired house, a wireless house or a mix of both, so you can reuse existing wiring on a takeover and add wireless devices later.
