Easy, as long as you follow the instructions
Just follow the instructions and you should have it up and running quickly, took me hours but I didn't follow my own advise here. Other reviews a accurate. Little pricy for just a network card, but for no monthly fees and self-monitoring it is well worth it. Emails and Text work, text is rather quick, in a few seconds from the alarm I get the text. You can only get emails/texts with alarms and issues related to the system. Zone email/text, such as door opened and door closed, are limited to ONE ZONE only. At first this was a bummer, then I realized I would just be getting way to many texts anyway so I do not follow any zones in that manner. Besides, the web app will show you those if you wan to see them. The web app could use some cleanup, but it serves the purpose it was designed for just fine. You can Arm/Disarm from the app without any issues. And a decent Zone Overview page to see recent activity with red icons that fade out to black as the zone activity ages away in an hour or two. Happy with it, no issues.

EVL-4EZ
I installed the EVL-4EZ card into a 11 year old Honneywell Vista 20P. The physical installation is straightforward. Programming the card interface was also reasonably easy to do. Setting up the external application to send emails and/or text message for alarm events was not as easy as I would have expected. The Eyezon application is not as user friendly as many apps are today. it takes a while to figure out how to add contacts, how to enable alarms even reporting and further how to get the Vista 20P to report the alarms and events so that they are sent to the app. It took me about 4 hours of head scratching with trial and error to get it working. Now that it is set up I am definitely happy with its operation.

Envisalink 4
Received and installed in Vista 10 alarm system. Hardest part was installing a board in the alarm box to mount the EVL4 card on. Created an account on Eyezon beforehand identifying the the type of device to be installed. Utilized a line power network link (temporary) to connect the EVL4 to the home network. After the system was up, the alarm system had to be reprogrammed to accept IP (*29) and default EVL4 keyboard 18 (*191), plus others. I was able to login to both the EVL4 software and the Eyez-On remote application. The only error at this point was the fact that my backup battery was still disconnected. Now I'm trying to get an Android app on Google Play to work with the system.
